iPC Solutions refund and returns policy

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase (used and refurbished items), and you have not notified us of a fault within the first 14 days, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. If your item arrives damaged, faulty or not working, and you contact us within 14 days, we can exchange or refund you. This excluded damage caused by the customer. Damages or loses caused by the couriers will be dealt with by iPC Solutions (photographic evidence will need to be provided by the customer upon receipt of the item to assist with any claims. If you use the item and change your mind, as long as the item is returned in the condition it was sent, you will receive a full refund less shipping charges. Your return postage will not be refunded. Any loses in the post for returned items is the responsibility of the customer returning the item. Please make sure you insure the items for the full value. Any damages caused by not fully insuring the items will result in deduction being taken from your refund to repair the item unless you decide to have it returned to you.

This excludes new pc’s which will have a minimum of 1 year warranty for parts, or new or manufacturer refurbihsed items that have a warranty attached to them. If your machine is warranted by the manaufacturer, any faults would be repaired directly by the manufacturer.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Windows operating system, in open boxes or from digital codes that have been sent, Office program codes and opened boxes. Software that is returned in its original condition, i.e unopened, can be returned(excluding damaged boxes). Any other software provided by us in the forms of digital codes cannot be refunded under any circusmtance.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Laptop and Desktop computers that are sold as faulty and not working
  • Items that have been damaged by the customer either on receipt or during use

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and a valid RMA code given by us in the first 14 days.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. All refunds will be sent within 30 days of a accepted return.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless they are dead on arrival(DOA) and you have contacted us within 14 days. Failure to notify us within 14 days, it is at the descretion of iPC Solutions if they will refund and accept a return on your item.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at ian@ipcsolution.co.uk and send your item to: 21 Hillary Close, Heybridge, Essex CM9 4UA. Item returned without a RMA number will NOT be accepted and you will need to pay for the item to be returned to you.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 21 Hillary Close, Heybridge, Essex CM9 4UA.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if this has been provided by iPC Solutions.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and/or that it will not be damaged in the post.
