With Windows 10 firmly on a majority of desktops and laptops these days, it won’t be long before Windows 7 is official retired. This date is coming on the 14th January 2020. That doesn’t mean that you cannot use Windows 7 from that date onwards and you can still instal and activate the products too, but active support from Microsoft will cease and your systems may be open to security threats moving forward.
I am a firm believer that windows 10 is a good operating system; yes, it’s had it’s fair share of update failures and issues but I, touchwood, have had a fairly good run with it and haven’t suffered as much as some of our customers have.
